Penn Services, President, John Wilson has been leading multimillion dollar commercial construction projects to desired measures of success for more than 15 years.
His comprehensive construction management experience includes management of in-house staff and subcontractor crews of up to 75 individuals; staff recruitment, retention and development; contract buyouts; developing and adhering to timelines and budgets, as well as processing AIA documentation, procuring permits and interaction with architects and clients.
John has overseen more than $700 Million in renovations and new building projects. John also has worked as an industry consultant on environmental mediation, wetland and detention studies, as well as participated in voluntary cleanups.
He continues to interact with public administration officials, as appropriate, to ensure regulatory compliance for related contracts. John also participates in various IDOT contractor seminars to gain additional experience and network with fellow contractors.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Furthermore, he earned his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management Executive Management Program.
John sits on the Local 396 Joint Apprentice Committee Board, as well as, the Erectors and Riggers Board. He is also on the Board of Trustees for IMPACT (Ironworker Management Progressive Action Cooperative Trust) as the At-Large Contractor Trustee. In addition, John also sits on the Ironworker's International Regional Advisory Board.
